Hey, Bad news.. The first snow competition that was supposed to be held in Rovaniemi on 12th of November is cancelled because lack of snow. It's been unusual warm this time of year, no snow or minus temperature. Now we just have to wait and see the forecast.. Rovaniemi COC is not sure, if you look at the forecast, just have to keep our fingers crossed. At least I have free from work on 17-27.11.

Today I jumped in Lahti HS130 in the morning. It was really difficult conditions, quite strong headwind and snowing which made the track really slow, specially in the radius. I managed 2 pretty good jumps. In the afternoon I went to hills of Kouvola for coaching in K25 and K58. On friday I didn't get good jumps in the HS100.. I got my first COC points of the season by finishing 25th. (87m/85m). On saturday we jumped in the big hill.. After first round I was 5th, but in the second round I had some bad luck with the wind and I dropped to 14th place.. (126m / 103,5m) Today, I had good result! It was a long journey. I flew from Helsinki to Osaka and from there (1h15min to to change the plane) to Sapporo. Helsinki-Osaka flight was 40mins late so I was sure I won't make it. Kuopio FVT in HS100 was held in really good and fair conditions. Trial round started 9 gates higher than we jumped the competition. I jumped my trial 4 gates higher and officially it was 101m (between us, it was 104m ;) ). My trial and first round were good but in the second round I blew my chance to take the victory, but still finished second! Second place was good, but second jump not...

Today I went to jump 2 jumps in a pretty heavy snowfall. It was good to get used to it because this weekend it should snow or rain.. My both jump were good, especially second one really good! Yesterday I had one training session, ski jumping in the morning at 10am. I made 5 jumps, 4 first were ok and the fifth was bad. But I am not worried. In the evening some friends visited us and we ate some food, listened to music and played some board games and few songs in RockBand. Today I went to the gym to do some weights. It went well, didn't do too heavy, just to "wake up" my legs and body. Tomorrow begins a training camp, jumping a lot until saturday. Jumping is fun, no need to claim the stairs anymore.Yesterday our weekly competitions started and there wasn't that many jumpers from Lahti who took apart.From "the famous" jumpers only Ville Larinto was competing. Jumping made some sense today, for a long time!! I have made some adjustments to my skis, boots and bindings with my dad, to get a better inrun position and better feeling in the air. Today I tried these adjustments for the first time and I must say wow!! I went jumping today, after 2 weeks of total rest. I've been moving to a new apartment so it has given something to thought about. Tonite I will also go jogging and some jumping (withouth skis).Tomorrow will be a nice day, FC Lahti plays against Dinamo Tirana (Albania) in the first round of Europa League (old UEFA Cup). Hey!Planica was great even I didn't jump long. Longest was just 175m.. But we had fun there whole week with the other forejumpers. After jumping I had 2 day quick-holiday in Ljubljana with the Damjan's. We went to see the sea, but it was cold.I must say that I really enjoyd Ljubljana, it was so nice place. I will definetly go there again and more than 2 days.I have started to train a bit..
